Note
A simple checklist for an indie app product page
The small set of sections a product page needs before it can support App Store conversion and search traffic.
A product page does not need to look large. It needs to answer the questions that appear before a purchase.
Start with the product name, one clear sentence, supported platforms, pricing model, and the current availability state. Then explain the use case in plain language.
The minimum structure
A small app page can work with:
- Product name.
- One useful promise.
- Who it is for.
- Core features.
- What it does not do.
- Privacy summary.
- App Store link.
- Support and privacy links.
Do not hide the limits
Limits can increase trust. If the app is offline, say so. If it is not a live service, say so. If it has no subscription, say so.
The page should reduce uncertainty, not inflate expectations.
